Following a press release from the State House dated 5th July, 2019, as documented by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed eleven Personal Staff including two Senior Special Assistants(SSAs), four Special Assistants(SAs), three Personal Assistants(PAs), one Personal Physicians and a State Chief of Protocol.
Meanwhile, the names of the staff per position are hereunder shortlisted:
Mohammed Sarki Abba as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Household and Social EventsYa’u Shehu Darazo as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special DutiesDr Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi re-appointed as Personal Physician to the President
Amb. Lawal A. Kazaure as State Chief of Protocol
Sabiu Yusuf as Special Assistant, Office of the President
Saley Yuguda as Special Assistant on House Keeping
Ahmed Muhammed Mayo as Special Assistant on Finance and Administration
Mohammed Hamisu Sani as Special Assistant on Special Duties
Friday Bethel as Personal Assistant on General Duties
Sunday Aghaeze as Personal Assistant to the State Photographer
Bayo Omoboriowo as Personal Assistant to the Presidential Photographer.
Malam Garba stated that the appointment took effect from May 29, 2019.
